This policy sets out what you may and may not do with the Scalio Platform. It forms part of our Terms of Service, and applies to everything you upload, generate, schedule or publish through Scalio — including content published automatically on your behalf.
1. Content you must not create or publish
- content that is sexually explicit, or that sexualises minors in any way;
- content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or that promotes violence or hatred against any person or group;
- content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property, including using another business's brand, logo or product imagery without permission;
- false or misleading claims about products or services, including fake reviews, fabricated testimonials, invented endorsements, or unsubstantiated health, financial or performance claims;
- advertising for products or services that are illegal, or that are restricted under applicable law or the policies of the platform where the content is published, unless you hold the necessary permissions;
- content intended to mislead people about whether it is AI-generated where the law or a platform requires disclosure.
2. Real people
The AI presenters available on Scalio are synthetic. You must not use the Platform to create content that depicts, imitates or impersonates a real person — including their face, body, voice or name — without that person's consent. This applies to public figures and celebrities as well as private individuals.
If you upload images, video or audio of a real person — for example a model, a member of your staff or a customer — you must have their consent, and any release required, for it to be used and published in the way you intend.
3. Messaging and personal data
- Only message people who have agreed to hear from you, and honour opt-out requests promptly.
- Do not upload contact lists or other personal data you are not entitled to use.
- Do not use the Platform to send spam, or to send messages that breach the rules of WhatsApp, Meta, Google or any other channel you publish to.
4. Using the Platform itself
- Do not attempt to access accounts, data or systems you are not authorised to access.
- Do not probe, scan, overload or disrupt the Platform, or attempt to bypass usage limits or security controls.
- Do not scrape the Platform, or access it by automated means except through interfaces we provide for that purpose.
- Do not reverse engineer the Platform, or use it or its outputs to build or train a competing product or model.
- Do not resell, sublicense or white-label the Platform without our written agreement.
- Do not share account credentials outside your business.
5. Automated publishing
If you enable a mode in which content is published without your approval of each item, this policy still applies to everything that is published. You remain responsible for that content, and you should review your published channels regularly.
6. What happens if this policy is breached
We may remove or disable content, pause automated publishing, restrict features, or suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe this policy has been breached. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you first and give you an opportunity to put things right. Serious or repeated breaches may lead to immediate suspension.
7. Reporting a problem
If you believe content created or published through Scalio infringes your rights, uses your likeness without consent, or is otherwise unlawful, write to dataofficer@scalio.app with a link to or copy of the content and an explanation. We will review it and respond.
